Chance to win a game and raise money for charity!

I have decided that I want to try and raise some money for charity, I think the best method for this would be to raffle off a board game (new) and all money raised (minus the cost of the board game and postage) will go to a charity!

I will of course not be entering these raffles but people I know will be able to as I know a lot of board gamers and it seems unfair to rule them out. I will possibly live stream the final draw or record the draw and put it on my Instagram account so you can all see this is not fixed but a randomly selected name (will use my go-to website wheel of names, of course!).

I will have the event running for a full month and will start one at the beginning of the month and end it a few days before the end to give me time to enter peoples details and of course spin the wheel and find a winner!

The charity will be selected by me and I will try to mix it up if this takes off and I do it every month.

You will donate money using my Raffall account (£1 which will get you 1 raffle ticket) which of course means Raffall will take 10% meaning 90p goes into the pot!

I will try and make sure I pick games that are on sale so that it will cost next to nothing to pay the cost of the game out of the money raised (if they are cheap enough I will front the cost myself but for bigger games, this would be impossible) and then the final postage cost will come out.

There will be worldwide postage on this, this means of course that sometimes the postage cost out of the final money might be higher depending on the game and weight, I will always shop around to find the cheapest but reliable postage to keep this cost down!

Due to gambling laws, you must enter a very easy question to actually enter the raffle!

All you need to do is buy a ticket for £1 (default amount, can enter more than once if you wish) and on the 24/09/2021 it will be closed to pick a winner on the weekend!

Worldwide postage also (check royal mail deliver to your country before entering).

I just want to cover some more about the raffle;

1 - It is £1 for 1 entry and you can do this as many times as you like.

2 - The cost of the game and the postage will come out of the raised money (unless it is cheap enough for me to front this cost). If the game cost £20 and the postage is £8.25 plus £4 for packaging and £120 was raised that means £87.75 will be left.

3 - Shipping will be worldwide as I do not want to leave anyone out, however, if Royal Mail does not deliver to your country then sadly I can not post it to you. Please check their website to check if they will post to you.

4 - I will allow friends and family to enter (not myself) and will make sure the draw is performed on wheel of names to make sure it is fair, there is no match-fixing here I want this to be a legit operation to raise some money for charity.

5 - The game is already picked and can not be changed for the cash value or another game, it is pre-purchased so you need to make sure you are happy with winning that game.

7 - If you win then I will send you an email asking for the postage address so final costs can be calculated and then I can work on announcing the money we all raised!

8 - The competition will run from the 1st of the month it starts until around 4 days before the end of the month to give me time to work out everything!

9 - This is for fun, it is not gambling and let us raise some money!

I just want to once again point out that this is all for charity and I really hope we can raise some money from this! If you all could share anything I post about this that would be amazing! I need this to reach as many people as it can.
